William Van Alen is known for creating the world famous Chrysler building. I have been obsessed with the architecture of NYC for as long as I can remember, and the Chrysler building makes an amazing statement on the cities skyline, I love the Art deco style of manhattan and this building is a prime example of this. Van Alen called for a jewelled crown like structure, and this was completed in 1930, and remained the worlds tallest building untill 1931.
He has also created the Van Alen building which is found in brighton, this still incorporates the beautiful art deco style.
